Quick update

Finished another pass on the customizer, mainly cleanup and work to make it more open-ended and flexible. I'm also doing some work to separate it from the unit creation process, because it will be much more of a general-purpose system that will be used frequently in the game.

Having a system that is much more free-form is crucial to make this work how it is intended. Whether you are initially recruiting for the Unit, deploying soldiers into the field, or customizing MOS defaults for the Unit as a whole, I want the customization system to be, for the most part, seamless and identical behind the scenes, if not in the game as well.

Anyways, my next task with the customizer is re-integrating the modular weapons system in again - hopefully this shouldn't take more than a few hours. I'm pretty sure it should go fairly smoothly.

Next on my list is the purchase / economy system that powers most of this under the hood. You want that super fancy weapon maxxed out with toys? It will cost you extra - are you sure that your budget can manage? Same goes for recruiting soldiers - each will have a base cost, as well as a cost for the equipment / loadout that you have specified. In addition, you can have them go through additional training (to get airborne certified for example), but this will also cost you ;}

Anyways, that's about it for now - it's late, need sleep.
