Abstract

With a focus on real­ism and small unit tac­ti­cal oper­a­tions, Com­bat : Spe­cial Oper­a­tions places the player in charge of an elite spe­cial oper­a­tions unit tasked to defend free­dom and com­bat ter­ror­ism around the globe.

Com­bin­ing ele­ments of pop­u­lar tac­ti­cal mil­i­tary shoot­ers such as the Tom Clancy games Rain­bow Six:Vegas and Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter, strate­gic games like Com­pany of Heroes, World in Con­flict, Act of War, and Joint Task Force with detailed char­ac­ter cus­tomiza­tion and pro­gres­sion ala role play­ing games such as Knights of the Old Repub­lic or Mass Effect, game­play in Com­bat : Spe­cial Oper­a­tions is focused on real­is­tic, strate­gic and tactical-level combat.
